Hi everyone

Just want to share the good news with you- just the tonic our family need after losing Dad in April.

I am an auntie again- my brother's partner gave birth to a boy today. She already has 2 from a previous relationship and Anthony has been like a dad to them so I'm so thrilled for him that he has a son of his own (he has 2 daughters).
The baby is the first grandson in our family. I just feel sad that Dad didn't live long enough to see him. He loved his granddaughters and a grandson would have made him so happy. They are definitely going to use George (dad's name) as his middle name, maybe even as his first name.

What fabulous news, Maria. if anyone deserves it, it's you after all the heartache of the last few months. George is a brilliant name - my own grandson is also a George!

Much love

Hi Maria

Such lovely news for you all. Expect Anthony is totally thrilled at the arrival of his little boy. Hope Mum and baby are doing well. Fingers crossed you get to see them all soon,

thanks for your best wishes everyone.

I saw a picture of him today- bald and wrinkly just like his dad!! They've had to keep him in hospital as he had low blood sugar levels and an infection, but he seems to be making good progress. His mum could have come home but understandably she's decided to stay with him.

Lorna- we can make the trip by car in a day but we're going to wait til he's home and I can have a good cuddle. In the meantime, I've got the knitting needles out.

his first name is Joseph. They decided to use dad' s Croatian name- Juraj- the equivalent of George, which i think is a lovely idea.

love to everyone

Maria
